Dentistry professor honored

Nicholas J. Grimaudo, D.M.D, of the University of Florida College of Dentistry, has received the 2003 Ethics Award from the Florida section of the American College of Dentists for outstanding ethical performance while a faculty member. The award was presented at the Florida Dental Association’s annual meeting, the Florida National Dental Congress.

Grimaudo is an associate professor in the college’s department of operative dentistry and director of quality assurance. In addition to his dental medicine degree, Grimaudo has master’s degrees in materials science and engineering and in oral biology. Grimaudo currently is completing a Ph.D. in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction.
