UF College of Health Professions to host lecture by national health policy expert
Diane Rowland, Sc.D., a national authority on health policy, Medicare and Medicaid, and health care for the poor, will present a free lecture at 3 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13 in the auditorium of the Health Professions/Nursing/Pharmacy Complex, 101 S. Newell Drive.
Rowland, the executive vice president of the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation and the executive director of the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured, is the eighth recipient of the College of Health Professions’ Darrel J. Mase Distinguished Leadership Award, named in memory of the college’s founding dean.
