Two University of Florida College of Nursing faculty members are among those recently recognized as the 2003 Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida.

The Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida Inc. is a volunteer group of professional nurses who provide funding for nursing scholarships, contribute dollars for research to improve patient care, and recognize outstanding nurses and their successes.
Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida honorees are selected based on their professional contributions, and how well these contributions are known and recognized in the community.

She recently was selected president-elect of the American Pediatric Surgical Nurses Association and is chairwoman and founding member of the Pediatric Nursing Council of Northeast Florida.
