UF College of Pharmacy professor recognized for outstanding teaching and service

John G. Gums, Pharm.D., a professor of pharmacy and of medicine at the University of Florida Health Science Center, has been selected by College of Pharmacy students to receive the Faculty Recognition Award for outstanding teaching and service to students.

The award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated continued commitment to student achievement. Gums coordinates a pharmacotherapy course for the Doctor of Pharmacy program. He also directs clinical pharmacology education and clinical research in the UF College of Medicine’s community health and family medicine department.
