University of Florida pathologist named to national board
University of Florida pathologist Shahla Masood, M.D., has been appointed to the 2004 board of trustees for the National Consortium of Breast Centers Inc.
Masood, a professor and associate chairwoman of the department of pathology at the UF Health Science Center Jacksonville, was elected to the 18-member board in recognition of her expertise and dedication to the field of breast health care.
The consortium serves as an informational resource for more than 1,600 professionals who care for people with breast disease.
