Joseph A. DiPietro, dean of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, has been named president-elect of the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges.
DiPietro was elected to a one-year term during the group’s annual summer meeting, held July 26 in Philadelphia. He will assume the office of president in July 2005.
