Goldberger named president-elect of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences
Bruce Goldberger, Ph.D., director of the William R. Maples Center for Forensic Medicine, director of toxicology and professor of pathology, immunology and laboratory medicine, was named president-elect of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences at the group’s 58th annual meeting, held Feb. 20-25 in Seattle. The AAFS, a nonprofit professional society organized in 1948, is devoted to the improvement, administration and achievement of justice through the application of science to the process of law.
