Ross named the AMWA’s annual conference administrator

Melanie Fridl Ross, M.S.J., E.L.S., assistant director of Health Science Center News & Communications, has been named the American Medical Writers Association’s annual conference administrator for 2005-06. The announcement was made in September at the organization’s annual meeting in Pittsburgh, Pa. The American Medical Writers Association, founded in 1940, is the leading professional organization for medical communicators. The international association has more than 5,000 members and is headquartered in Rockville, Md.
