The department of opthalmology wins award

The department of opthalmology received the North Florida Lions Eye Foundation's annual award and a $10,000 stipend. The award is for past work in age-related macular dystrophy and the development of new imaging techniques that will allow scientists to get a better understanding of weakened eye tissue.
