SHANDS AT UF PERFORMS BEST IN STATE IN U.S.NEWS & WORLD REPORT RANKINGS
Congratulations to Shands at the University of Florida for earning top-50 rankings in 11 specialties in the 2008 edition of America’s Best Hospitals, published by U.S.News & World Report.
The magazine ranked the Shands at UF academic medical center in more specialties than any other hospital in Florida. Tampa General and Jackson Memorial followed Shands at UF with seven and four listings, respectively.
Shands at UF had the highest ranking among Florida hospitals in five specialties: endocrinology, geriatrics, heart, respiratory and urology.
