Hendrik Luesch, Ph.D., the Jack Wessel Excellence Award

Hendrik Luesch, Ph.D., an assistant professor of medicinal chemistry, has been selected as one of 10 inaugural recipients of the Jack Wessel Excellence Awards for Assistant Professors. Wessel, a friend of UF, wished to recognize the research productivity of faculty members early in their academic careers. Each award is a one-time allocation of $5,000 in support of research and can be used to fund travel, equipment, books, graduate students and other research-related expenses.
