Michael Clare-Salzler, M.D., named interim chair of the department of pathology

Michael Clare-Salzler, M.D., the Stetson chair in experimental pathology and a professor of internal medicine, endocrinology and general surgery, was recently named interim chair of the department of pathology, immunology and laboratory medicine. An expert on type 1 diabetes, Salzler is the director of UF's Center for Immunology and Transplantation.
