R. Stan Williams, M.D., named chair of obstetrics and gynecology

R. Stan Williams, M.D., the Harry Prystowsky professor of reproductive medicine, has been named chair of the department of obstetrics and gynecology. Williams has served as interim chair of the department since July 2007. "Dr. Williams has a unique and ambitious vision for the department and plans to expand the faculty in the areas of oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, robotics and urogynecology, as well as increase collaborations throughout the College of Medicine," said College of Medicine Interim Dean Michael L. Good, M.D.
