UF Health joins Giving Tuesday movement

After a day of giving thanks and two days of indulging in shopping deals, the international event "Giving Tuesday" provides a way for businesses, communities, families and individuals to celebrate the holiday season by giving back.

Today, UF Health will join the 24-hour global effort to encourage generosity while impacting medical education and the patient experience. Supporters can choose from three funds: the UF College of Medicine’s George T. Harrell, M.D., Medical Education Building, the UF Health Heart and Vascular Hospital towers and the health system’s areas of greatest need.

Join the Giving Tuesday effort on Dec. 2 to support how UF Health cares for patients and trains the next generation of health professionals, and jump into the conversation on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #GivingTuesday.
