Osman Z Ahmad, M.D. - Background
Osman Ahmad, MD, received his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. He then moved to New York to complete his residency at Maimonides Medical Center, which was followed by a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Ahmad specializes in treating children with feeding difficulties, constipation and other gastroenterological problems. He is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is board-eligible in gastroenterology. He is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders.
Dr. Osman is fluent in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
