This national hotline number will connect you to the nearest poison control center. Our local poison control center is in Jacksonville, Florida.

  • The toll free hotline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • The hotline will connect you a nurse, pharmacist, physician or physician assistant
  • Hotline operators are trained and certified as specialists in poison information

These health experts will assess your situation and provide treatment advice. They will direct you to the appropriate level of follow up care.

The Florida Poison Information Center

The center in located at UF Health Jacksonville. It provides emergency poisoning information to health care providers and the public.
