Biography

Reem S. Abu-Rustum, M.D., graduated from medical school at the University of Florida in 1993 before completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida in 1997. Dr. Abu-Rustum is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is a fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and has a special interest in ultrasound, specifically the first trimester and fetal heart.

Dr. Abu-Rustum is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, including the Shield of Honor of the Lebanese Order of Physicians Tripoli and the Presidential Award of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

After graduation from medical school, Dr. Abu-Rustum served as an OB/GYN at the Center for Advanced Fetal Care in Lebanon, became a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine’s Education and Global Health Committees and became the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Ambassador to Outreach in Lebanon and the Middle East.
