A Study to Assess the Effects of a Medication in Patients with Angina
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects (possible risks and the effectiveness) of the investigational drug (drug that is not approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA)) SAR407899. This study will look at SAR407899 within the dose range between 2.5mg and 10mg, by mouth, twice daily compared to placebo (substance that contains no active medication).
Procedures
- Complete tests including a physical exam, blood sample, PET scan and ECG
- Take study medication
- 6 visits over a 36 day period
