Vest Prevention of Early Sudden Death Trial (VEST) and Prediction of ICD Therapies Study (PREDICTS)

Purpose

The purpose of this study is to find out if wearing an external defibrillator (a device that can shock the heart back to a normal rhythm) can prevent death from an abnormal heart beat in people who have had a recent heart attack.
