Cancer Education and Support Sessions
Navigating Together: Education is power. Support is strength.
UF Health hosts bimonthly cancer education and support sessions. In these sessions, patients, survivors, caregivers, and friends will learn from our UF Health multidisciplinary cancer experts on various cancer-related topics and connect with others facing similar experiences.
Our team of oncology nurse navigators facilitate these sessions. Here, we focus on a range of topics, including:
- Prevention and treatment of breast cancer
- What your pathology results mean
- Understanding gastric and pancreatic cancer
- Nutrition
- Occupational therapy
- Genetics and cancer risk
- And more
For more information, call the Multidisciplinary Cancer Coordination Program at (352) 594-7900 or email MultiDCCP@shands.ufl.edu.
