UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital is one of the premier academic children’s hospitals in Florida. We offer care in more than 20 pediatric specialties as well as basic primary care and highly specialized procedures.
We strive to provide the best care possible for the "whole child." Our team is made up of doctors, licensed therapists, clinical psychologists, nurses, program specialists, case workers and volunteers. They work together to offer consults, medical treatment, therapy sessions, and activities and support for children experiencing various emotional, behavioral, and mental challenges.
