At UF Health, our ophthalmologists offer a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with eye-related programs or diseases. UF Health offers comprehensive eye care services ranging from routine eye exams to leading-edge ophthalmic diagnostic testing, advanced clinical treatments and laser and surgical procedures.

Our team of UF Health ophthalmologists and optometrists use a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, whether you need a routine eye examination for eyeglasses or contact lenses or need highly specialized eye care for vision correction or complex eye diseases.

The types of eye conditions we treat and services we provide include:

iLasik™ refractive surgery

If you struggle with vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatisms you should consider iLasik ™ refractive surgery. iLasik is a state-of-the-art, completely bladeless procedure that permanently changes the shape of the cornea (The clear covering on the front of the eye) to improve vision and reduce a person’s dependency on glasses or contact lenses.

Specialized services

Our highly trained specialists employ a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for patients requiring advanced eye care, from laser therapy to treat glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy to refractive surgery for the correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.

Our experts are also experienced in refractive cataracts surgery to correct distance and reading vision. We are the only eye care practice in the area to have specialists in every ocular clinical and surgical area, from routine to complex.
