Introducing MyChart Central: A One-Login Hub for Patients in Florida

UF Health has formed a unique collaboration with Epic to launch a new electronic medical record feature, MyChart Central. Starting Nov. 6, patients can securely access their medical records through a single login, regardless of which participating health system or provider they visit.

Using MyChart, you can schedule appointments, communicate with care teams and manage your care from home. MyChart Central — part of a nationwide rollout, initially for eligible organizations in the Eastern time zone — will have these added benefits:

• Access to medical records from any participating organization using a single set of login credentials (your Epic ID)
• Password-free login using passkeys and biometrics
• Automatic syncing of information across linked organizations, allowing patients to access their historic medical records across providers in a single portal
• Ability to easily share your health records with different health apps

UF Health will join other organizations in Florida and throughout the U.S. who will also integrate MyChart Central over time. The collaboration is expected to be a significant advance in improving health care access. MyChart Central supports that mission by simplifying the patient experience in the digital space.
