At UF Health Children & Learning Center, we provide a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K to learn, play and – most importantly – grow. With skilled staff, age-appropriate activities, nutritious meals and daily parent updates, we ensure every child feels supported, valued and inspired — every step of the way. This program is available exclusively to parents who work for UF Health, offering peace of mind that their children are in caring hands just steps away from where they work.

At UF Health Children & Learning Center, our mission is to provide a developmentally appropriate program of early childhood education and care that nurtures trust, confidence, curiosity and a love for learning. By focusing on each child and their family, we foster a strong partnership between staff and parents to support growth in every stage of development. Our goal is to inspire children to enjoy learning while building the skills that form the foundation for lifelong success.

Our skilled teachers use a play-based approach that naturally weaves together language and literacy, math, science, social studies, art and music. We encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making and self-help skills in a language-rich environment. Children are guided to develop social awareness, express their feelings, build friendships and resolve conflicts. We also celebrate and respect diversity by incorporating multicultural and multilingual activities, ensuring every child feels valued, included and empowered.

Admissions

Enrollment at UF Health Children & Learning Center is open to UF Health employees on a first-come, first-served basis. We welcome children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K and strive to create a smooth transition into our nurturing, play-based learning environment. Our admissions process is designed to be simple and supportive, ensuring parents have all the information and guidance they need from application to first day. Because space is limited, we encourage interested families to apply early to secure a spot for their child.
