UF Health Medical Laboratories offers the latest technology in tests that help people live longer, healthier lives. We are a leader in all types of medical testing for hospital patients and outpatients and provide full service testing in many areas including general chemistry, microbiology, virology, parasitology, surgical pathology, blood bank, cytology, hematopathology, and HLA.
- Appointments are not necessary. Walk-in's are accepted from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Draw Stations
UF Health operates several conveniently located walk-in draw stations where patients can have their blood collected for laboratory testing at UF Health Medical Laboratories.
The UF Health Shands Hospital draw station, Outpatient Lab, is located on the first floor of the hospital in room 1021.1. Other UF Health draw stations in the Gainesville areas are:
