UF Health The Oaks
UF Health is excited to establish an even stronger connection to the Gainesville community, now offering our nationally recognized health care services in the city’s long-time shopping epicenter.
Located in The Oaks Mall, UF Health – The Oaks features three specialty practices: ophthalmology, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) and audiology. These services are provided by University of Florida faculty in the 139,000-square-foot former Sears space at 6201 W. Newberry Road. The facility also has an outpatient surgical center to support ophthalmology and otolaryngology procedures, as well as an optical retail shop.
The opening of UF Health – The Oaks brought changes to other UF Health facilities. The eye practices at the UF Health Medical Plaza on SW Archer Road and at Hampton Oaks on SW 62nd Boulevard were consolidated at the new Oaks Mall location. In addition, ENT and audiology practices at Hampton Oaks also relocated to The Oaks facility.
