Primary tabs
It is estimated that greater than 70% of all runners will experience an injury severe enough to limit their training for greater than one week during their careers.
During these times the runner will struggle with how to manage their training while managing their injury. Working with this population requires specialized care and management.
The UF Running Medicine Clinic utilizes the expertise of physicians, therapists, exercise physiologists, and nutritionists that are trained to work with this special population. The Director of the Clinic is Dr. Kevin Vincent. Dr. Vincent is a Board Certified physician who also has a PhD in Exercise Physiology. Dr. Vincent trained in the Runner’s Clinic at the University of Virginia under the direction of Dr. Robert Wilder, one of the nation’s leading authorities on running medicine.
