U.S. News Best Children’s Hospitals 2020-2021
The University of Florida Health Shands Children’s Hospital has been recognized as one of the nation’s best hospitals for children in three medical specialties, according to U.S. News & World Report rankings.
In its annual Best Children’s Hospitals rankings, U.S. News ranked the following three UF Health pediatric programs among the nation’s best this year:
- Cardiology and Heart Surgery – 12th nationally
- Diabetes and Endocrinology – 22nd nationally
- Pulmonology – 27th nationally
All three UF Health programs are the highest-ranked among Florida pediatric hospitals. The pediatric cardiology and heart surgery program is the highest-rated in Florida for the fifth consecutive year. For pediatric pulmonary and endocrinology, it is the third consecutive year as the state’s top-ranked programs.
