Telehealth Appointments
UF Health Surgery are pleased to report that our practices will be increasing in-person visits while continuing, in some cases, to offer telehealth visits. It is important to know that we have implemented a number of measures to safeguard the health of our patients, visitors and caregivers. Please visit coronavirus.ufhealth.org for the latest updates and information about safety measures being taken at UF Health.
Please contact your provider to schedule an appointment and they will determine if a telehealth visit is right for you. View our telehealth section for assistance in how to prepare for and connect to a scheduled appointment. If you still need assistance, please contact our office.
360° Tour
Our board-certified, fellowship-trained thoracic and cardiovascular, and vascular surgeons work together at the UF Health Surgical Specialists practice in our UF Health Heart & Vascular Hospital to care for patients with simple and complex heart, lung and vascular conditions.
Thoracic and cardiovascular surgery focuses on surgeries of the heart, blood vessels of the chest, and the lungs. UF Health cardiothoracic surgeons offer a wide range of surgical procedures, including endovascular, or minimally invasive, options to help patients recover more quickly. They work closely with UF Health cardiologists, who share the same outpatient practice, to care for patients with heart failure and offer the latest in treatment options.
Vascular surgery focuses on repairing damage to the circulatory system of the body, which includes veins and arteries. UF Health vascular surgeons offer a wide range of surgical procedures, including endovascular, or minimally invasive, options to help patients recover more quickly. Our vascular surgeons work closely with UF Health cardiothoracic surgeons to care for and treat our aortic patients.
