Please refer to our timeline provided below for information on upcoming sessions.
To volunteer, you must be in Gainesville to attend a mandatory, in-person onboarding session. If you will not be in Gainesville for a semester's session, please apply for a future semester.
Timeline for Fall 2024 applications
July 15 at 9 a.m.
Register for an online, mandatory Zoom information session. Registration is first come, first served and will close when all 800 spots are filled or on Aug. 9, 2024 (whichever comes first).
- Session 1: Aug. 13, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Registration is full.
- Session 2: Aug. 15, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Registration is full.
People who successfully register will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to join the meeting.
Additional instructions will be supplied in forthcoming information sessions and onboarding sessions.
- Attend a mandatory Zoom information session and learn about:
- Current volunteer opportunities
- Volunteer requirements
- The steps and deadlines to become a volunteer
- People who attend the full Zoom information session will be invited to apply to volunteer.
Between Aug. 20 and Aug. 22
- Attend a mandatory in-person onboarding session. Times are TBA.
Between Aug. 23 and Sept. 12
- Complete the remaining steps to become a volunteer.

Parking
In order to provide parking for our patients and their guests, our garages are closed to UF and UF Health students, faculty and staff. Please utilize your normal methods of transportation to campus (i.e. busing, biking, walking). For additional transportation resources, such as scooters, campus connector and buses, please visit Alternative Transportation - TAPS (ufl.edu).
