Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

Recurrent miscarriage may be related to genetic, hormonal, anatomic, immunologic, hematologic and environmental factors.

UF Health Reproductive Medicine will see patients with two or more consecutive miscarriages earlier than 12 weeks of gestation and help potential causes that lead to these unfortunate events to see if the chance of having a child can be enhanced. Sometimes there is no specific reason for a miscarriage. Fortunately, the majority of these couples will eventually have a successful pregnancy outcome with therapy treatments alone. UF Health Reproductive Medicine physicians will discuss your specific condition to make evidence-based recommendations.

At times patient support groups like Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Inc may be beneficial as well.
