Why is this important?

Focus

Dr. Waxenberg’s research interests have been informed by her clinical work and vice versa. Her overarching goals are to better understand and serve patients with chronic pain and to add to the evidence base to better inform the treatments of those patients. Dr. Waxenberg has served as a collaborator on several research projects at the University of Florida Department of Clinical and Health Psychology as well as the Digital Health Research at the University of Oslo. Her research interests include patient centered outcomes in chronic pain, pain management digital app development and the interaction of pain and sleep.
