Description
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Dress in blue on March 25th with UF Health to help raise awareness for colon cancer and the value of regular screenings to save lives.
Employees can get on the FasTrak to schedule a colonoscopy, walk through a giant inflatable colon to see the various stages of the disease and learn ways to prevent colon cancer.
UF Health nursing, clinical and administrative staff are also invited to participate in a Best in Blue Spirit competition to get the conversation started about colonoscopies. Decorate your work area, dye your hair blue for the day or dress up in blue to let your teams spirit shine!
Submit photos of your blue spirit between March 1 25 to Jennifer West, RN at WESTJL@shands.ufl.edu.
- First place prize: Pizza party for you and your work group
- Second place prize: Coffee cards for those who participated in your unit
- Third place prize: Candy basket
