Stress relief program offered for heart disease patients

The University of Florida College of Health Professions’ clinical and health psychology department is offering “Survivor Stress,” an educational support group for patients with heart disease and their spouses.

The program is designed to provide information and skills to help successfully cope with the stress of living with heart disease. Participants will learn stress-management skills and behavioral change techniques.

Survivor Stress consists of five biweekly sessions, offered on an ongoing basis on the UF campus. For more information or to register, call (352) 265-0680, Ext. 46866.
