UF’s Wharton honored for pediatrics work

Paul Wharton, Ph.D., a clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Florida Health Science Center/Jacksonville, has been elected an honorary fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics for his work as a child advocate.

Wharton also serves as the Health Science Center’s assistant vice president for health affairs for government relations. A member of UF’s faculty for 10 years, he holds joint faculty appointments in psychiatry and in communication sciences and disorders.
