Padraic G O'Malley, MSc, MD, FRCSC
Padraic O’Malley MSc, MD, FRCSC, is board-certified in urology. Dr. O’Malley completed his medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine in Netherlands Antilles, and served his residency at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in Toronto. He then completed his Society of Urological Oncology Fellowship at Weill-Cornell Medical College in New York.
Prior to joining University of Florida Health, Dr. O’Malley was an assistant professor in the department of urology at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada for two years. He won the Undergraduate Teaching Award at the University of Toronto in 2013 and the Ferdinand C. Valentine Fellowship Award at the New York Academy of Medicine in 2014.
At UF Health, he is a clinical assistant professor in the department of urology at the UF College of Medicine. Dr. O’Malley is currently a member of the Canadian Urological Association, the Endourological Society, the American Urological Association and a junior international member of the European Urology Association. Dr. O’Malley has contributed as an author to a number of urology-based publications, chapters and abstracts.
Dr. O’Malley’s clinical interests revolve around urologic oncology and minimally invasive urologic surgical therapies. He also serves as a sub-investigator on a number of advanced prostate cancer clinical trials.
