Talal Elmasry, born and raised in Gainesville, is a graduate of UF’s College of Journalism and Communications. He joined UF Health’s marketing team after 15 years in journalism, including a 10-year run at The Gainesville Sun before serving as a researcher for ESPN in Connecticut. This is Talal’s second stint working for the University of Florida as he spent five years as a sports reporter at WRUF, the campus radio station, while earning his degree as a student. Now that he’s back home, Talal is relishing the opportunity to assist health care communications and make a positive impact on the lives of UF Health patients.
