Community Outreach
One of the cornerstones of our stroke center is educating our community about strokes. Understanding the symptoms of a stroke is the first tep in getting the right treatment, B.E. F.A.S.T. We know time equals brain when it comes to stroke, and we want everyone to know that.
Below are just some of the events we participated in last year that reached thousands of people in our community:

Just Between Friends Safe Kids Day at the Legacy Center in Alachua. April 27, 2024.
Orange and Blue Game at the University of Florida's Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. April 13, 2024.
Strike Out Stroke UF Baseball Game at the University of Florida's Condron Family Ballpark. Stroke survivor and UF Health provider Dr. Paul Dell threw the first pitch, alongside his wife and UF mascot Albert.
