My bio

Aliyah Snyder specializes in neuropsychology and is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Health and Psychology at the University of Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology and her master’s degree and PhD in clinical and health psychology from the University of Florida. She completed pre-doctoral internship training in pediatric and adult rehabilitation neuropsychology at Emory University and then completed a two year fellowship in brain injury and sports neuropsychology at UCLA in the BrainSPORT program.

Her clinical work currently focuses neuropsychological assessment and interdisciplinary management of concussion/brain injury at the UFHealth Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases. She also directs the Holistic Interventions for Brain Health and Recovery (HI-BHaR) clinic, which provides brief, time-limited therapeutic interventions for brain injury, post-acute sequelae of COVID-19, and other neurological conditions. She is involved in developing protocols for mindfulness-based biofeedback as well as research in autonomic dysregulation following brain injury.
