Why is this important?

Focus

My clinical and translational research focuses on advanced 3D imaging, jaw lesions, and pathology. I am interested in using AI to create a training dataset essential for generating ideal detection and diagnosis model for 2D and 3D imaging diagnosis of normal anatomy and jaw lesions.

My research interests also focus on evaluating diagnostic AI systems and also the effect of AI system implementation in student education and training.

I have been actively investigating to establish temporal radiographic features for detecting MRONJ-induced osteonecrosis.

I am also involved in the role of Ultrasound imaging in early detection and diagnosis of salivary gland changes in Sjögren’s disease and evaluating muscles of mastication in TMJ disorders.
