About me
My name is Barys Ihnatsenka, MD, and I am an associate professor in the UF Department of Anesthesiology. In 2010, I joined the department as an assistant professor in the Divisions of Acute Pain Medicine and Ambulatory Anesthesia. I received my medical degree from Grodno State Medical Institute in Belarus and completed a residency in anesthesiology and intensive care there. I also completed an anesthesiology residency and a Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine fellowship here at the University of Florida.
Prior to my residency and fellowship at UF, I worked as an educational training specialist and CPR instructor for autistic children and adults in Winter Park, FL. I have been on the faculty here at UF since completing my fellowship. My areas of interest include education, simulation, and regional anesthesia.
