My bio

I am a dedicated physical therapist with a passion for improving the quality of life for individuals with movement and neuromuscular disorders. I’m a double Gator, earning my Bachelor of Science in microbiology & cell science and my doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Florida. Since becoming a licensed physical therapist in 2015, I’ve had the opportunity to work across various health care settings, including acute care, skilled nursing facilities and outpatient clinics.

Throughout my career, I’ve treated a wide range of patients, addressing a broad spectrum of diagnoses such as cardiopulmonary conditions, orthopedics, neurological disorders, vascular issues and critically ill patients on ECMO. This diverse experience has given me a solid foundation in treating complex cases and a deep understanding of different treatment approaches.

In August 2023, I joined the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at UF Health. My focus is on working with individuals who have Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonism, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophies and cognitive disorders. I believe in providing patient-centered care, aiming to maximize each person’s functional potential and quality of life while helping them stay engaged in the activities they enjoy. I strive to make evaluations and treatments as engaging as possible to create an environment that fosters progress and independence.
