About me

My name is Cole Dooley, MD, and I am an associate professor in the Divisions of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine in the UF Department of Anesthesiology. I earned my medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, IL, and completed a transitional internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, before coming to the University of Florida to complete my residency. Following that, I completed my fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Arkansas Children’s Hospital UAMS in Little Rock, AR.

I’m an active member of a number of professional organizations, including the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. I’ve completed medical mission trip work in Latin America for cleft lip and palate repair and am an authorized Spanish language interpreter here at UF.

In my free time, I like to cook, travel, and read. I’m also a founder of a local non-profit and dedicate a lot of time to fundraising for pediatric cancer research in memory of my daughter.
