My name is Dr. Eric Rosenberg, and I serve as Senior Medical Director of the UF Health Care Command Center and as Professor of Internal Medicine.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia before earning my Master of Science in public health and medical degrees from the University of South Florida. I completed my residency training at UF, where I served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship program for academic physicians at the University of North Carolina.
I knew I wanted to become a physician from the age of 7. I have always been fascinated by medical science, human physiology, and the history of medical progress. In addition to my clinical work, I have contributed to efforts to improve the quality of medical care, reduce errors, and prevent patient harm. I served as Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine for 14 years, as Associate Chief Medical Officer for UF Health Shands Hospital, and as Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education.
I enjoy running, hiking, and traveling with my wife and children to our national parks. I am a proud “grandpa” to our two mini schnauzers, who we love dearly. I enjoy photography and am an aspiring electric rhythm guitarist.
