Why is this important?

Focus

My primary research interest lies at the intersection of systemic autoimmune inflammation and lung involvement, with a focus on interstitial lung disease (ILD), particularly in idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM). I aim to identify meaningful correlations among clinical phenotypes, autoantibody profiles, and longitudinal disease trajectories in patients with myositisassociated ILD. Through a prospective, deeply phenotyped cohort, I seek to develop a dynamic computational model to map disease trajectories, identify high-risk patients, and predict adverse outcomes. These efforts are designed to support screening, enable early diagnosis, and inform personalized treatment strategies and risk stratification in a highly heterogeneous patient population
