My bio
Gevalin Srisooksai, M.D., joined the University of Florida Department of Anesthesiology as an assistant professor of anesthesiology in the Division of Neuroanesthesiology in 2021. She completed her Neuroanesthesiology Fellowship as well as her anesthesiology residency with the UF Department of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Srisooksai earned her medical degree at UF, as well as her undergraduate degree in biochemistry.
She has contributed to numerous abstracts and presentations and is the lead author on a recent case report on transcranial motor evoked potential monitoring in a patient with a deep brain stimulator, which was published in the Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology. She is also involved in an ongoing research study with Nicolai Goettel, M.D., titled “Anesthesiological Routine Care for Thrombectomy in Cerebral Ischemia (ARCTIC-I): An International Prospective Observational Study.”
Dr. Srisooksai helped teach simulation for intraoperative anaphylaxis and PEA arrest during this year’s Basic Skills Bootcamp, and she also has experience teaching neuroanatomy to medical students.
