About me
Dr El Shakankiry is graduated from Ain Shams University, one of the prestigious medical schools in Cairo Egypt, earned MSc and PhD in Pediatrics and MSc in Neuropsychiatry. She has had extensive experience as a pediatric neurologist and epileptologist. In the states she completed Pediatric Neurology fellowship at UT Southwest in Dallas, Texas, as well as Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy fellowships at University of Rochester- NY.
She is board certified in Neurology with special qualifications in Child neurology, Epilepsy, and Clinical Neurophysiology with added competency in in Epilepsy Monitoring and added Competency in Critical Care EEG Monitoring.
Throughout her career Dr El Shakankiry received multiple awards for dedication, teaching, and research. She has many publications, attended, and participated in many national and international conferences.
