Hi my name is Himesh Vyas and I am board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. At UF Health, I specialize in general pediatric cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography and fetal echocardiography.
I earned my medical degree from B.J. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, in Pune, India. I completed my pediatrics residency at B.J. Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune, and at the Michigan State University Pediatrics Residency Program in Lansing. Following my residency, I pursued my pediatric cardiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic Pediatric Cardiology Program in Rochester, MN. Then, I served an advanced fellowship in interventional catheterization at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children’s Hospital, in Houston.
Prior to my appointment at UF Health, I was assistant professor in pediatric cardiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Arkansas Children’s Hospital, in Little Rock.
