About me
My name is Hussain Khalid, MD, and I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the division of cardiovascular medicine. My interest in cardiology started in medical school with an interest in EKGs and hemodynamics of the cardiovascular system. My specific interests include echocardiography, multimodality cardiovascular imaging, and teaching.
I earned my medial degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, and completed my residency in internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University. I completed my cardiology fellowship training at the University of Florida. I completed an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at the University of Florida. My goal is to provide all patients with the most comprehensive care. I have expertise in the following areas: hypertension, coronary artery disease, chest pain, heart failure, cardiovascular disease prevention, valvular heart disease, and general cardiology.
