My bio
Dr. Burns is fellowship-trained in adolescent medicine. He graduated with his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University. He completed his residency training in pediatrics and a fellowship in adolescent medicine at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.
Dr. Burns is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine. He is a member of the Ambulatory Pediatric Association and the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Burns’ research interests include mentoring resident research, geographic information systems, health risk behaviors and depression, clinical pediatrics and parenting styles.
